What people ask us first.
- Is Kenii only for community colleges?
- That is who it is built for. Community and technical colleges carry a catalog problem that four-year institutions mostly solved with budget nobody here assumes you have. The credential structures, the dual enrollment paths, the transfer logic: all of it is shaped around two-year programs.
- Will the catalog look like us, or like Kenii?
- Like you. Your colors, your type, your header and footer, on your own domain. There is no badge, no vendor branding, and no link back to us anywhere a student can see. Someone browsing your programs should not be able to tell what you run.
- Who on our staff actually uses this day to day?
- The people already keeping the catalog current. A coordinator edits programs and courses, deans and committee members review changes when it is their turn, and IT installs it once and steps back. It runs as a WordPress plugin, so whoever edits your site can edit this.
- What does Kenii not do?
- It is not a student information system. It does not register students, hold records, or process financial aid, and it does not sync to Banner or Colleague. It reads your catalog data and publishes it. Your registrar keeps the system they already run.
- Can we see it running at a real college?
- Yes. Martin Community College runs Kenii in production and its catalog is public, so you can search it the way a student would before you ever talk to us.
