Data privacy built intoyour own site.
Kenii runs inside your college’s own WordPress environment and writes directly to your database. Student, course, and catalog records stay on your infrastructure rather than flowing to a vendor server.
Your academic records stay in your database.
We do not host, sell, or collect student records.
Local database storage for academic records.
Because Kenii operates as an installed WordPress plugin suite, academic catalog content, degree maps, and curriculum proposals are stored locally within your database. No student records, course content, or catalog data are transmitted to or stored on Kenii servers.
What our marketing site collects when you visit
Our marketing website at kenii.app is hosted on our own virtual private server infrastructure. Standard web server logs, such as IP addresses and browser user-agent strings, are recorded temporarily for security and performance monitoring. We use Google Analytics to see which pages help people evaluate Kenii. It sets cookies and records page views, device type, and approximate location. It never receives form contents or anything about your institution.
Outbound license checking and site telemetry
To verify active licenses and software versions, the plugin transmits license keys, site URLs, host environment details, and plugin version numbers to Kenii endpoints upon activation and every 12 hours. No course descriptions, student data, or catalog records are included in these calls.
Outbound labor statistics data ingestion
To populate salary and employment figures on program pages, the plugin issues direct requests to public labor statistics APIs at api.bls.gov, services.onetcenter.org, and public.projectionscentral.org. These calls ingest public labor data and transmit no institutional or student information.
Structural privacy for institutional compliance
Because Kenii does not receive, store, or host educational records on external vendor servers, your academic database remains entirely under your own IT infrastructure. Public catalog browsing and discovery tools execute within your own domain.
Direct communication and clear infrastructure.
What we run, what we keep, and how to reach a person about it. This list stays current, so if a processor is added later it appears here before it handles anything.
Hosting infrastructure
The marketing website runs on dedicated virtual server infrastructure managed by Kenii. Google Analytics runs on this marketing site for traffic measurement. No content delivery network sits in front of it, and no analytics of any kind runs inside the Kenii plugin on your own site.
Form submissions and inquiries
Information you submit through a demo request or send by email is used solely to respond to your request and maintain active business communication. We do not sell, rent, or share contact information with third-party marketers.
Deletion and privacy contact
You may request deletion of marketing contact records or form submissions at any time. For architectural or privacy questions, write to hello@kenii.app and a person on the team will answer.
See where your datawould actually live.
Request a demo and we stand up a Kenii site carrying your logo and your colors, running on demo catalog content, free for fourteen days with nothing to sign. Your IT team can inspect the database and the outbound calls themselves.
