Export catalog data

Download your programs, credentials, and courses for a given catalog year as a
JSON or CSV file.

  1. Go to Catalog Years in the sidebar.
  2. Find the year you want to export, open its row actions, and select Export.
  3. Choose a Format: JSON (Full Data) or CSV (Spreadsheet).
  4. If you chose CSV, also choose a Data Type: Programs, Credentials, or
Courses. JSON always exports all three together in one file.
  5. Click Download.

The JSON export includes, for each record, its ID, title, slug, and the core fields
for that type (a credential’s parent program, state code, total credits,
requirements, and plan of study; a course’s code, credit and lab/clinic/work hours,
prerequisites, corequisites, description, and transfer-approved flag), plus the
catalog year name, export timestamp, and your institution name. The CSV export is a
flatter, spreadsheet-friendly subset of the same fields for whichever data type you
picked.

This export covers programs, credentials, and courses only: it does not include
policies, the handbook, or academic terms. If you need those, they aren’t currently
part of the export tool.
